In 2015, Mark Nelson, SIOR and Michael Nelson, SIOR represented the sale of 1756 W. Lake Street to Peppercorn Capital. The subject property was a 27,000 SF industrial manufacturing building on 39,959 SF of land in the Kinzie Corridor. 

The NH team was retained by the new owner to lease the property and assist in re-positioning  this old industrial property to a new use within the existing zoning code and changing “Makers District” corridor. NelsonHill procured Paramount Events, a growing catering and events company as a full building tenant on a 10-year lease. Ownership and NelsonHill worked with the tenant to produce a turn key solution. The tenant was able to create incredible event space in the re-positioning of the building and also a new restaurant, Eden.
